You are more than welcome to participate or simply observe the farm´s daily activities such as : sowing, planting, harvesting, creating organic repellents and fertilisers and feeding the animals. Some activities are dependent on the time of the year.

For those in search of sensation, the Miravalles Canopy tour is only 10 minutes away by car.
The ‘White Towns’ where most of the authentic Nigaraguan handcraft is made, Aguas Agrias natural springs, and of course Laguna de Apoyo with its crystal clear warm water are only 30 minutes away from El Respiro.

If you are in need of transportation we will be happy to arrange it.

For those willing to simply relax or enjoy peacefulness, if you let us know in advance, we also offer wellness services such as massages provided by professional therapeutes.

 

The proximity of Lake Nicaragua and Mombacho volcano´s microsystem provide us with a broad variety of birds which can often be seen from our terrace. Depending on the time of the year you may be able to spot some of the following, Oropendulas,Tangara Veranera, Mielero Patirrojo, Tirani Tropical, Urraca copetona, Saltapinuelo Nuquirrufa,Colibris and many more incredibly colourful birds such as Nicaragua’s national bird : the Guardabarranco.

Purity of air and no light pollution allows for exceptional night sky observation. With our telescope you can witness some extraordinary spectacles, which you can enjoy whether you are experienced or an amateur.
